Hawee leader forum 2024: Pioneering leaders, shaping the future
On May 30, 2024, CDLAF representative, Lawyer Hoang Thi Lien attended the Forum “ Hawee leader forum 2024: Pioneering leaders, shaping the future” organized by Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Entrepreneurs Association (HAWEE) in coordination with the Businessmen’s Association. Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union (YBA) was organized.
The forum drew a distinguished gathering of delegates from the Vietnam Women’s Union, foreign diplomatic missions in Ho Chi Minh City, Women Entrepreneurs Associations from other provinces and cities, and over 500 representatives from women-led enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City.
A noteworthy this forum was the speeches by German and Indonesian diplomatic mission representatives, women’s crucial role in society.
The event featured leading experts from Vietnam and abroad in various fields, including healthcare, banking, investment, industrial park development, etc. These female leaders and scientists shared inspiring topics and stories, empowering female entrepreneurs to broaden their horizons, embrace bold ideas, and lead in creating positive change for their organizations and communities.
Dialogues and activities at the forum addressed current issues such as:
- Dialogue: “Vision for Sustainable Investment” with speakers from Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ), Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam, Do Ventures Investment Fund, and Deep C Industrial Park. The dialogue motivated enterprise owners to jointly implement ESG strategies and promptly transform their business models toward sustainable development.
- Dialogue: ” The Synergy Power in the Era of AI” with Mr. Steven Truong Quoc Hung – CEO of Vinbrain discusses the advantages of applying AI technology to business operations.
- “Thinking Differently, Achieving Extraordinary” is a dialogue with outstanding female entrepreneurs and scientists about the challenges and unwavering efforts they have faced in achieving success.
Within the forum agenda, Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam introduced the SC WIN project to support credit for women-led businesses. In addition, HAWEE has signed a media cooperation agreement with VC Corp Group – a multi-channel media company that will work together to spread HAWEE’s values to the community and sign a strategic cooperation agreement with Standard Chartered Bank to support credit for enterprises
The forum concluded with inspiring and emotional speeches from Hawee leaders and female entrepreneurs and social activists advocating for women’s rights. These speeches called on the community of women entrepreneurs to rise up strongly, stand together in self-respect, develop their talents and intellect, and elevate their influence and thinking, inspiring future generations.
