On April 13th, 2023, the 12th Partnership Conference between Vietnamese and French localities will take place in Hanoi. The event will run from April 13th to 15th, 2023, as both countries commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations and 10 years of the Vietnam – France Strategic Partnership in 2023.

During the conference, the parties will focus on four specialized workshops, including (i) Sustainable urban areas; (ii) Environment, water, and water treatment; (iii) Culture, Heritage, and Tourism; (iv) Smart cities and Digitization.

Besides the workshops, exchange events were also arranged during the conference, including: The space to promote the Vietnam colors” localities , “Balade en France/ a stroll in France” festival, artistic performances to welcome the 12th Partnership Conference between Vietnamese and French localities, a Vietnam – France Business Forum, and sightseeing tours to famous scenic spots in Vietnam, such as Hanoi’s Old Quarter, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Trang An, and Bai Dinh.

Vietnam and France have currently signed the following agreements:
