JOB DESCRIPTION – LEGAL INTERN
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist line managers in drafting service proposals;
- Research laws and regulations related to client’s cases;
- Assist line managers in drafting, translating and proofreading different types of documents;
- Brainstorming legal issues, matters, risks and solutions for clients’ cases;
- Liaise with authorities to check the practices related to clients’ cases;
- Arrange and retain dossiers (hard-copies and soft-copies) to ensure accessibility when needed;
- Prepare legal update, legal newsletters, articles, and research papers to publish on the Firm’s website or as requested by line managers and/or Partner from time to time;
- Properly record working hours and prepare timesheet for billing and/or performance tracking;
- Assist in developing internal forms, templates and tools for business as usual;
- Assist in creating, following and sorting contracts and/or documents in the Contract Management System;
- Collaborating with other team members in various clients’ and/or internal projects as needed; and
- Other tasks as assigned by line managers and/or Partner.
Requirements
- Third-year student from university with a major in law (graduating with good and excellent grades is a plus);
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Ability in social media is an advantage;
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing) with IELTS 5.0 or TOEIC 600 at least;
- Able to work independently or in a team with hard pressure and/or tight deadlines;
- Proactive, dynamic, flexible, open-minded and responsible in work;
- Good at researching, drafting and communication; and
- Diligent and detail-oriented.

Working Time & Location:
- Working Time: Mon to Fri, 8:00 am – 17:30 pm
- Working Location: CDLAF Law Firm, Room 7.01, TMS Building, 172 Hai Ba Trung Street, Da Kao Ward, District 1, HCMC
